Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions.

Starting Location, Starting Times and Availability

Tours are subject to availability. Contact us to check availability.

We would collect you from and return you to your accommodation or a venue of your choice.

As the tours are private and personal the start time is somewhat flexible. We usually suggest a start of 09.00hrs or 09.30hrs. The Boyne Valley tour is an exception. Entrance to Newgrange is on a first come first served basis so we like to get our clients there as early as possible. You would be collected at 08.45hrs if taking The Boyne Valley Tour.

Tour Duration

Half-Day Tours take approx 4-5 hours.

Full-Day Tours take approx 8-9 hours.

On-shore excursions from cruise ships can vary in length.

Larger Groups

Our vehicles take a maximum of six passengers.
Please contact us if you require a tour for a group larger than 6 persons. We work with reputable quality coach providers that supply us with vehicles for larger groups. Subject to availability.

Entrance Fees

Entrance fees are not included in the fee for your tour. If you intend to visit a lot of sites you may like to investigate purchasing a Dublin Pass or an OPW Heritage Card.

Tour Dublin cannot guarantee entrance to any site for smaller groups.

Booking and Payment

A 25% non-refundable deposit secures a booking. Deposit payment can be made by credit card, via PayPal or by international bank transfer. The balance is to be paid on the day of your tour. This can be done by credit card or cash.

Accommodation

We do not offer an accommodation booking service. We can however recommend accommodation that previous clients have spoken well of.

Foreign Language Guides

We do not employ foreign language guides directly but we do have access to and work with foreign language guides. Please contact us for further details.

Walking Tours

We may be able to offer a walking tour service subject to availability or if we cannot we can point you in the direction of someone who can.

Driving Services

Tour Dublin also offers drive only services. Airport transfers, concert/sporting event collect and return, conferences and weddings. Please contact us for further information.
