Yes we are back and I'm a little sorry to say there is currently much more rain in Massachusetts than we saw the entire week in Ireland! Thank you so much for your tour. We are unanimous that the day spent with you touring Wicklow and Glendalough was the high point of the trip. This is something coming from a group that is known to be averse to organized tours. In addition to the wonderful scenery, and the witty and informed commentary, I think they enjoyed knowing that they could determine the pace of the day. It was great getting a personal perspective on the country, politics and traditions, and coupled with our West Coast "experiences" we're feeling rather knowledgeable :). After watching the poor folks outside our hotel try to cram their luggage on the Air Bus I was doubly glad we had arranged for you to pick us up at the train station and drop us at the airport. There is nothing better than arriving in a new place and having someone waiting to take you to your destination. All the best on your upcoming wedding.

"The four of us wholeheartedly would recommend and seek Kieran out on our next Irish adventure!"

Our group had only 2.5 days to spend in Ireland and we wanted to make the most of our time there because my partner and I were taking my terminally ill father & my stepmom on a whirlwind tour of London, Scotland and Dublin over the course of 10 days. Being busy with our own company and having a limited schedule, we didn't have time to waste trying to learn a new country all on our own. I first contacted Kieran via email through his website and after he adeptly determined what my dad, who is a huge genealogy buff with an interest in our Irish ancestry wanted to see, he took care of every detail.

Kieran showed us all of the highlights in Dublin proper, and the next day took us out into the countryside and gave us an indepth tour of celtic ruins, ancient castles, the Irish countryside, and two quaint pubs. We found much of the tour was well off the beaten bath of the big tour buses and he showed us people and places we would have never seen on our own. He let us see tour at our own pace and he was very informative whenever we had questions. Probably what the 4 of us enjoyed most though, was his personable nature and the time he took to answer some of the most basic & straightforward questions we had about the Irish people, Irish culture, and what it was like to grow up in Dublin.

The 2 days we spent with Kieran ended up being 2 of the most memorable of the entire trip. Kieran was even kind enough after 2 days of lugging us around in his luxury van, to come pick us up, free of charge, on Sunday, the day of our departure to make sure we got to the airport safely -- even while the much ballyhooed Wimbledon match was going on. The four of us wholeheartedly would recommend and seek Kieran out on our next Irish adventure!

A Faultless experience (note Faultless with a capital "F"). Kieran is more than a masterful guide, he's a student of the history of Ireland and a teacher who brings to life the wonderful story of that land. We had asked for a tour of Wicklow but the morning dawned dull and rainy. That didn't bother Kieran, "Come on" he said, "We'll take a look at Trinity college and the Cathedral and perhaps City Hall while it's raining. Hopefully it'll clear before lunch." Clear it did, after all, who could deny Kieran's wishes?.
Our trip south was everything we expected, and more. By the end of the day we had seen a small part if this beautiful island, and what's more, made a new friend. Don't miss the chance to duplicate our own experience with Kieran and Tour Dublin!

Our driver, Kieran, has a degree in ancient history, and has quite an insight into the ruins and sites we visited. We had an all day tour of Powerscourt Gardens, Glendalough (Monastery Ruins) and Avoca the village where Ballykissangel was filmed. (great woolen shops).He can arrange a tour to suit your timeframe.
